A decade of silicon advances brings substantially more computation, which is leveraged by a massive software push, across every industry segment imaginable. Complicating matters is the ubiquitous presence of security concerns that ranges from nuisance avoidance, to IP and financial theft, to national security, to the protection of human life. As the world in general and our industry in particular looks to the future, the demand for technology leadership, productivity gains, and the ability to sign off along the entire pathway from silicon to software has never been greater.
