Faculty Recruitment

* Each Campus (College or Graduate School) may have additional supporting programs for new faculty members.

* Start-up fund and incentives are based on USD 1 = KRW 1,150 rate.

 

* All Campuses

- A faculty member and his/her immediate family members are eligible for medical service discount benefits by the Yonsei University Health System (Severance Hospital, etc.)

- Tuition support for children

- On-campus residence support (Avison House: https://jbhaksa.yonsei.ac.kr/default.asp)

 

* Sinchon/International Campus

- Start-up fund for new faculty members

   · Humanities, Social Sciences, Art, Music, and Physical Education: up to USD 35,000

   · Science & Engineering (Theory): up to USD 87,000

   · Science & Engineering (Experiment): up to USD 139,000

- Airfare, housing expenses, and moving expenses can be provided to new faculty members after review.

- On-campus child care center

 

* Yonsei University Health System (College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Nurse, Graduate School of Public Health)

- Start-up fund: USD 9,000

- Annual research incentive: USD 10,000 ~ 13,000 (rank-dependent)

- On-campus child care center

- College of Dentistry: USD 35,000 for the additional start-up fund (requirement: to submit SCI papers within 3 years of appointment)

 

* Mirae Campus

- Start-up fund for new faculty members

   · Humanities & Social Sciences: up to USD 17,000

   · Science & Engineering: up to USD 35,000

 

* Wonju College of Medicine

- Annual research incentive: USD 2,000 ~ 3,000 by position

- On-campus child care center
