Hello. I would like to thank all of you for your continued interest and support for the development of the School of Economics. I would like to explain and ask for the support of the remodeling of the building for College of Commerce and Economics.

The building for College of Commerce and Economics has been used for more than 20 years, and the current facilities and environment are not meeting the rapidly changing educational conditions and are not enough to prepare for the future education. Specifically, the current facilities include a narrow and dark entrance hall and lobby space, old classrooms with worn out educational equipment, inconvenient space for student to study and rest, sinks that do not have hot water. There is a need for major renovations to solve inconvenience and budget waste due to centralized heating / cooling system, windows and lights that are not environmentally friendly. Through the remodeling, our university aims to revitalize the buildings with the history of the alumni, the buildings where the future of the juniors will be conceived, and the buildings that will last for next 50 years.

To this end, all professors from College of Commerce and Economics have already participated in fundraising, and the alumni have been carrying out fundraising campaigns. Please refer to the attached brochure to see the honors for those who participate in the fund raising. I am sorry for always asking to the alumni but we would like to create a building that will last for more than 50 years at this opportunity. We look forward to your participation.

On behalf of professors and students of the College of Commerce and Economics,

Dean of College of Commerce and Economics, Lee, Doowon.
