In departments where specific major fields are indicated, applicants must choose one of the specific majors when completing the online application.

Qualifications for Application:

1. Master’s Degree Program

a) Those who have received a bachelor’s degree from a domestic or international university or those expecting to receive it before the desired admission year.

b) Under other laws, Those recognized to have academic qualifications equivalent to or higher than the above.

c) For the first semester: Those who can graduate by February of the desired admission year (for those with expected graduation from a Japanese university by March).

d) For the second semester: Those who can graduate by August of the desired admission year (for those with an expected graduation from a Japanese university by September).

 

2. Doctoral Degree Program

a) Those who have received a master’s degree from a domestic or international university or expect to receive it before the desired admission year.

b) Under other laws, Those recognized to have academic qualifications equivalent to or higher than the above.

c) For the first semester: Those who can graduate by February of the desired admission year (for those with expected graduation from a Japanese university by March).

d) For the second semester: Those who can graduate by August of the desired admission year (for those with an expected graduation from a Japanese university by September).

Document Review Evaluation: Selection based on key document review evaluation items
a) University and Graduate School Grades
b) Academic and Research Plan

 

Oral Examination Evaluation: Selection among oral examination candidates based on a comprehensive review of document review results and key oral examination evaluation items
a) Knowledge of the Major
b) Aptitude for the Major
c) Passion and Diligence for Academic Pursuits
      ※ If an oral examination candidate refuses to take the oral examination, they will be considered as not qualified.

1. Basic Submission Documents

2. Additional submission documents(For international students)

The final degree is obtained from overseas universities (excluding China).
-Consent Form for Educational Records: Download and complete the form from the graduate school website and submit it yourself.

Graduates with degrees from Chinese universities.
-A letter of consent for academic records inquiry: Download from the graduate school’s website and complete and submit it yourself.
-Original degree certificate: Obtained and submitted from the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center, “敎育部學位與硏究生敎育發展中心” at http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn (It is recommended to apply in advance as the issuance may take some time. If issuance is not possible, the degree consular confirmation received from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea or the Chinese Embassy in Korea on weekdays can be used as an alternative.)
-Degree Certificate Copy: If issuance is not possible, a degree verification from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea or the Embassy of China in South Korea can be used as an alternative.
