Noninvasive Monitoring of the Core Body Temperature at the Forearm through the Quantitative Measurement of Blood Perfusion Rate
Research findings related to the development of a sensor for noninvasive core body tissue temperature and blood perfusion measurement at the forearm by Professor Woochul Kim's research team were published in the international scientific journal 'ACS Sensors' in July 2023 (Impact Factor: 8.9, Top 4.1% in the field) and featured on the front cover. In this study, a device was developed to measure skin temperature, heat flux, and blood perfusion at the forearm using a sinusoidal heating method and monitor core body temperature.
