International Conference on Mechanical Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering (MMIE 2023) excellent oral presentation award

At the International Conference on Mechanical Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering (MMIE 2023), held from August 23 to 25, 2023, in Tokyo, Japan, Soon Wook Kwon received an excellent oral presentation award on the topic of 'Physics-added neural networks (PANNs): A novel method to embed physics in image-to-image translation for inkjet printing system'. The proposed PANNs is a neural network model that incorporates physics into deep learning, which shortens learning time and dramatically improves accuracy compared to conventional deep learning. The study was published in July in the journal Additive Manufacturing.
