Graduate School of Economics offers majors in financial engineering, Financial Economics, Financial Insurance, International Business & Industry, Public Policy & Economic Development, and Managerial Economics, and students select one of the five majors above is selected at the same time aswhen applying for the master's degree program. 통상산업전공(International Business & Industry)

Korea's economic development has been highly dependent on international trade and have accomplished quite mucha great success. However, it is also true that government and individuals' inexperienced behavior caused various distortions and conflicts.

In this majorHere, we will examine and evaluate the international economic environment that Korea is placed in, the introduction of foreign capital and capital formation, international trade and social welfare, international division of labor and resource reallocation, technology transfer and productivity, and analyze how the industrial sector should be organized so that the national economy can operate smoothlyefficiently. In addition, we will take a look at the economic aspects of the labor problems that developing countries as well as developed countries are currently facing. This course We also explores the formation of industrial structure, the harmonization of government and market sfunctions, government regulation, roles and functions of public enterprises, international trade and industrial policies, and inter-firm strategies.

In addition, this course major deals with the various theories that explain the labor economics phenomenon that are causing labor problems, as well as in- depth research about current problems related to these issues.

Students who major in this field are required to thoroughly study understand the theories of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, and try to analyze the current status of Korea based on this foundation. Major courses offered include international trade, international trade policy, industrial economics, industry and strategy, labor economics, and labor relations.
