- Prof. Seung Ah Lee’s research group (OISL) proposed a low-cost, compact, snapshot full-Stokes lensless polarization camera based on the mask-based lensless computational camera (Paper title: Lensless polarization camera for single-shot full-Stokes imaging). This work has been done by Nakkyu Baek, Yujin Lee, Taeyoung Kim, Jaewoo Jung, and Prof. Seung Ah Lee and is published in APL Photonics (IF=6.382, JCR top 10.24%).

- Changyoon Yi (Prof. Seung Ah Lee’s research group) published a research article in Optica
- Prof. Lee’s research group (OISL) reported a novel wide-field in vivo blood flow imaging method using a low-cost rolling shutter CMOS image sensor that maps local temporal intensity decorrelations of dynamic speckle fields on a single image. This work is published in Optica (IF=10.644, JCR Top 2.43%). This work was supervised by Prof. Seung Ah Lee (corresponding author), led by Changyoon Yi (first author), and collaborated with Prof. Chung’s research group of GIST.

- Dr. Hyukjoon Yoo (Prof. Hyun Jae Kim's research team), published paper in Applied Physics Letters
- In October, oxide semiconductor-based visible light phototransistor developed by Dr. Hyukjoon Yoo, a graduate of Professor Hyun Jae Kim's research team, was accepted in Applied Physics Letters (IF 3.971, JCR top 30.75%). This study was conducted to confirm whether a transparent phototransistor can detect visible light by applying a porous PTFE and plasma engineering technology to form a sub-gap state in the IGZO channel layer. (Article title: Enhancement of visible light detection for indium–gallium–zinc oxide-based transparent phototransistor via application of porous-structured polytetrafluoroethylene)

- Prof. Kim’s research team won the silver and special prizes at the 2022 Samsung Display paper contest
- In October, Kyungmoon Kwak (Ph. D. candidate) from the research team of Prof. Hyun Jae Kim won the silver prize at the 2022 Samsung Display industry-university cooperation paper contest. In addition, this research team was selected as the laboratory that submitted the most papers, and also received a special award. This special award is of great significance in that it proves the excellent results of industry-university cooperation with SDC for about 10 years under the guidance of Professor Hyun Jae Kim, the head of the Yonsei-Samsung Display Research Center.

- Prof. Park’s research team grants the target LAB from LG Electronics
- Prof. Park's research team (Power and Control Systems Lab) has been granted as LG Electronics' target LAB for 3 years (23.08-26.08). This provides the separate recruitment process, which will receive industry-university scholarships and job confirmation benefits for masters/doctoral students. In addition, LG Electronics employees, who worked together during the masters/doctoral programs, are designated as superiors and will work together with the HR organization. Currently, Prof. Park's research team is working on a long-term research project in cooperation with LG Electronics. (Project: Development of Power Module Solution for 400 kW EV Fast Charger with High Efficiency and Small Size)

- Dr. Byungchoul Park (Prof. Chae’s research team), X-ray Image Sensor, will be published in IEEE ISSCC 2023
- Prof. Chae’s research team (YMSICL) developed a Single-Photon Avalanche Diode X-ray image sensor, which improves conventional PD-based image sensor’s dynamic range and power efficiency simultaneously. This work will be featured in IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference 2023, which is the most famous conference in IC design. This work was led by Prof. Youngcheol Chae (Corresponding author) and Dr. Byungchoul Park (first author).
